AFL $60,000+ MAGPIES V BOMBERS

With so many cheap options and some really premium plays, tonight’s game at the G looks a cracking DFS contest.

Tom Jok makes Brodie Grundy really affordable so coaches will have to factor that into selection if they want to build a really unique lineup and challenge at the very top then these two obvious plays may have to be faded on ownership.

Expect that this will be a really high-scoring dfs game so select for ceiling games especially your premium mids.

Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for tonight’s $60,000+ Magpies v Bombers contest.

FORWARD

Darcy Parish ($11,770): Just need a three figure score from Parish here and this team is looking great. Fear he is one that could kill us but with no Heppell tonight, Parish should get increased time onball which will help his score.

Callum Brown ($8,860): Expect there is a little midfield bump for Brown tonight with Sidebottom out, Brown is capable of paying off this price tag and he should be relatively low-owned too. Nice little 75-85 would be fine Cal!

MIDFIELD

Zach Merrett ($15,500): Be shocked if the Pies tag him and if they don’t he will smash. Greenwood is there though so there is always that risk which hopefully will keep his ownership down under 20-25%.

Dylan Shiel ($13,190): Taking both Essendon onballers who will have to shoulder the load tonight with no Heppell and no Zaka. Shiel could be very very chalky but it’s good chalk. A num num num!

Chris Mayne ($10,620): Little pod play here with Mayne who should be the man most likely to get the biggest Sidebottom bump and spend time on a wing as opposed to the specific shutdown jobs he was doing a month ago. They will need him to find the footy here.

Tom Jok ($5,000): On debut, should play on a wing but can go into the ruck (he is 190cm!) for stints. Has averaged 17 disposals in the VFL last two seasons. Expect he smashed past 10x value here for a 60+ game.

DEFENDERS

Jack Crisp ($14,320): If you have the money then Crisp is the one in defence that can go 130+ and the conditions are ripe for him to do it tonight. Fast game, dry track, no Sidebottom. All ticks.

Mason Redman ($9,900): Not sure how many people will get to Redman tonight, he should be popular but just with how selection will likely play out, i think people will pay right up or right down for defenders leaving Redman in no-man’s land. Hopefully we get a big 90+ at 15-17% and he is the one that takes this team right into contention.

RUCK

Tom Bellchambers ($10,810): Grundy will smash Bellchambers tonight, but it’s how you spend the 6k+ that will determine whether Grundy is the play. We’ve bought Merrett and Parish with our Grundy money so if they can return 130 and 100+, all we need to do is have Belly clock an 80+ and we won’t miss Grundy. Ofcourse if Grundy gets his 160-180pt ceiling and 55-60% of the field are on him, then this team probably won’t cash.
