AFL EASTER SATURDAY $40,000+

The Easter bunny has come early this year with some absolute bargains in a ripper three-gamer.

With value options across the board today there will be some really unique lineup build options and ownerships should be nice and spread which means coaches should focus more on raw points and hitting that 850-900pt mark in what I’m expecting will be a high cash line tonight.

For our build we’ve targeted some great matchups and solid roles then just plugged in a few studs to boost our points total.

Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for the Saturday $40,000+contest.

FORWARD

Lance Franklin ($11,510):Franklin returned an 80+ last start kicking 3 behinds and generally not playing that well. He just looks on the cusp of a big 7 goal game and i’ll be on him when he kicks them today against a depleted Tigers key defence.

Matthew Parker ($7,700): When the field zig’s sometimes it is time to zag and we are zagging to Parker here who has been getting progressively worse in his four games so far in 2019. Just 30pts last start means he will be 3-4% owned today but he is the third tall in a team playing the Demons who cannot defend and whilst plenty of effort will go into stopping Membrey and Bruce, Parker could be the one to bob up for that 15 disposal, 3 goal game that nets up 80-90pts like he did in R1.

MIDFIELD

Josh Kelly (14,300): Absolute gun that can be banked on to clear 100pts every week. It is just a matter of how high he goes. Third up at Manuka against the Dockers looks a great spot, at a great price.

Nat Fyfe ($14,020): Field will miss Fyfe today i suspect but he is to me one of the clear midfield premium plays. 120+ no worries at all.

Angus Brayshaw ($15,810): Our third midfield stud, I’m absolutely sh*tting myself that Steele tags Brayshaw today but if he doesn’t then there is a 150pter here for Gus.

James Bowbottom ($5,000): This kid is exactly what he seems. Big bodied mid who will get plenty of onball mins. He tackles and he finds the footy so he will smash that 5k price tag. Taking one of the cheapy mids that are available will be a popular build today.

DEFENDERS

Bachar Houli ($12,600):He is in a smash spot dfs wise with no Short in that Tigers backline, it is just whether he lasts the four quarters (as it always is with Houli). Taking Lloyd and Whitfield will be a popular combo today but Houli and Newnes (see below) can combine for a 220-230 today at much less salary.

Jack Newnes ($11,940):Loving being back off half back and racking up possessions at will. Still well priced despite being a picture of consistency this season so far. Reliably returns 85+.

RUCK

Brayden Pruess ($6,950): Small risk given the big man didn’t finish the game last week but he is far too cheap here if he does play. Pumped out a 60pter in almost a qtr and a half last week. Will smash value if he plays.
