AFL $40,000+ KANGAROOS V POWER

One of the most even single game contests of the season – take your stand and enjoy the low ownership.

Rarely is such an evenly-spread single gamer offered up on a Friday night but that’s what we have here.

I can’t see any player being over 35%.

This build is assuming a big Kangaroos bounce-back and fading some of the premium Port players that have been tearing it up.

Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for the Kangaroos v Power.

FORWARD

Ben Brown ($8,190):Tonight is a great night to get on Brown town. Just 8k and gets some help with Larkey coming in I can see Brown having one of those big 4-5 goal games at low ownership.

Brad Ebert ($13,620):Ebert is a really safe selection if you have the coin. His all-round game gets him to 100pts here and if the goals happen, it can be even higher. Not a lot of forwards capable of tonning up tonight and Ebert rarely has a shocker so the floor is safe.

MIDFIELD

Trent Dumont ($13,740):Been ultra-consistent so far this season so will be really popular. Could be the most owned guy on the slate but I’m going back because his ceiling is huge and his floor is really safe.

Ollie Wines ($13,990):35 disposals last start shows his capabilities, its hard to pay up or Rockliff or Boak when Wines is cheaper and getting 35 touches.

Jed Anderson ($11,560):Have loved his tackle floor this season, no Ahern, Scott or Simpkin means Anderson will play onball all game.

Luke Davies-Unaicke ($7,460): My POD pick for this game in the midfield, both Anderson and LDU get a big bump from the ins/outs for North. Capable of a big 80-90pt value game here.

DEFENDERS

Jamie McMillan ($11,540): The Pittard narrative is tempting and willbe popular but for mine it’s McMillan who will go underowned and is more capable of smashing out a 100+ game.

Darcy Byrne-Jones ($10,030):DBJ is a selection that fits this team’s ‘north will be dominant’ build as he is averaging 90pts in the three games where Port have been abit under the pump in defence. Likely to go overlooked on the back of a low 60pt effort last start.

RUCK

Scott Lycett ($9,850): Todd Goldstein made ‘the list’ last game so for me it was the Port rucks only and i’m happy with Lycett who i’ve been really impressed by. 25 hitouts, 2 tackles, 12 disposals, 6 marks – doesn’t need a huge game to have a nice 80+ here.
