AFL ANZAC DAY EVE TIGERS V DEMONS $50,000+

Some very tempting price tags in this ANZAC eve ripper as coaches weigh up whether to take a chance on some out of form stars.

The secret to this game is to stay in it. By that I mean selecting players who have safe floors but who can still produce a value game if the ball bounces their way.

The Tigers are not a team that shares the fantasy footy whilst the Demons are so out of form it is difficult to assess them at all.

With so much volatility at selection we are placing a premium on floors as well as tackling in what should be a pretty intense game of footy.

Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for the Tigers v Demons contest

FORWARD

Dustin Martin ($13,590): After last week’s 25 disposal, 3 goal effort we’re going straight back to Dusty who should be able to score well even if he cops the Harmes tag here given the Dees suck so badly in defence. He should either get 30+ or kick 4-5. Few people will likely jump off due to Harmes factor but should be 30%+ tonight.

Tim Smith ($8,270):Does Smithy need a big one here! Not a great set shot but he is known for his tackling in the forward 50 so if the ball comes to ground expect to get a tackle stat from Smith here. Locking him in for 6-8 tackles for this one, 10 disposals and a goal starts to look like a great value game.

MIDFIELD

Clayton Oliver ($14,110):A must-have man tonight. Get’s his 30+ disposals no problems and should clear 10 tackles. big game looms.

Dion Prestia ($13,020):The meatball is starting to find the footy again in this depleted Richmond midfield. 110+ last week and has huge upside we know that. Expect he will be very highly-owned tonight after last week but he is in a great spot here so why not go back at this price.

Jack Ross ($8,950):If you were on him last week then stay on the bus. Smashed out a 30pt first qtr then just didnt find the right spots after that. Can rack up 25+ here and loves to tackle. With Stack abit cheaper much of the field will go to him so could get Ross at sub 20%. Has 100+ in him.

Sydney Stack ($8,560): I’m taking both Tigers youngsters here. Stack has shown he can record solid numbers in the disposals, marks and tackle category and he will need to here again. Anything over 70pts is a win

DEFENDERS

Marty Hore ($9,780):Melbourne have found one here. Loves to read the flight and intercept and against the Tigers he will get plenty of opportunity to do that. Don’t expect 90’s here, but has a very safe 65+ which is more than we can say for others in his price range. Chalky but necessary i think.

Nick Vlastuin ($9,270):Our backline POD is the Vlastuin who found his intercept marking game last week. Registered 10 marks and you know when he does that the fantasy ton is close by. Can go again here at sub 15%.

RUCK

Max Gawn ($14,270):This is the free square of the game. Gawn will likely be 60% owned tonight but he should be 90%. Will dominate without Pruess there. Big big game from maxy coming up.
