NBA $30,000 Thursday Lineup Tips

Another week of NBA has finished and the season is really starting to take shape. Boston continues on its 16 game winning run, the Cavaliers have turned their season around by winning their last five, and the big three teams out west (Warriors, Rockets and Spurs) occupy the top three spots. Finally some normality has resumed to this crazy season. With no games on tomorrow due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there are a monster 14 games to be played today. The highlight is undoubtedly the Warriors taking on the Thunder where Durant and Westbrook get to face off once more as well as Ben Simmons and Philadelphia taking on in form Portland and the Rockets taking on the Nuggets. Tip-off is at 11.00am AEDT, so make sure you lineups are in by then.

Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $30k+ Thursday competition

Point Guard

Eric Bledsoe ($11,150)

Bledsoe is coming up against his old team for the first time since he was traded to the Bucks. Bledsoe was mismanaged by the Suns and was very happy when he was finally traded, the stage seems perfect for a revenge game. What also help Bledsoe is how poor defensively the Suns are, especially against guards. Bledsoe should be able to dominate this contest and score big.

Mario Chalmers ($7,800)

Chalmers has been deputizing for the injured Mike Conley and has been doing a great job. Chalmers has started the last three matches and is averaging nearly 30 DS points in that timeframe. Chalmers and his Grizzlies come up against the Mavericks who recently let Kyrie Irving drop 47 points on them, whilst Chalmers is not as good as Irving, he still should be able to score at will. Chalmers is a great value pick.

Shooting Guard

Klay Thompson ($12,900)

Whilst Thompson is sometimes a risky play due to his streakiness, he gets a good matchup here. Thompson and his warriors take on the Thunder, who are struggling at the moment. The Warriors also might be without Kevin Durant, which means that Thompson may take a greater role in the offense. The Warriors are ruthlessly efficient, especially against other contenders and Klay is a big part of that. Look for him to punish the Thunder.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($10,700)

Dinwiddie has seen a lot of court time thanks to the injuries to Jeremy Lin and D’Angelo Russell and is playing exceptionally well in their absence. Dinwiddie is averaging 41.6 DS points in his past three matches as starter and comes up against the Cavaliers who are the worst defensive team against guards this season. The Nets play a perfect style of basketball for fantasy, fast paced and minimal defense, which makes Dinwiddie a great pick for your lineup.

Small Forward

DeMar DeRozan ($15,900)

DeRozan has taken his game to the next level this season, adding rebounding and assists to his already lethal shooting game. DeRozan’s DS point average has spiked to a very healthy 48.1 across his last three matches. DeRozan and his Raptors come up against the Knicks which should be another good game for the inform guard. Look for another big score from DeRozan.

Wesley Johnson ($7,250)

It is panic stations at the Clippers as the struggling team have lost their last nine matches. They face up against the Hawks who have the worst record in the Eastern Conference, so if the Clippers find a way to lose, it would be really dangerous for the franchise. Wesley Johnson has been in decent form lately, averaging 31.5 DS points in his last three matches. Johnson has been slowly increasing his minutes all season and is now an established starter for the Clippers. He is a decent value pick for today’s matches.

Power Forward

Kevin Love ($14,450)

The Cavaliers have turned their season around. After starting slowly, they are gaining momentum and have won five straight matches. A big part of this is the play of Kevin love, who has averaged 38 DS points over those five wins, including a 13.75 against the Knicks. Love has rediscovered the form that made him a double-double machine at the Timberwolves, racking up three DDs in his last five matches. Love faces off against the Nets this match who are atrocious against big men. Love should be able to dominate. The only concern is if they win in a blow-out and Love gets pulled from the game.

Greg Monroe ($7,850)

Monroe was one of the players traded to the Suns in the Eric Bledsoe deal, so this will be the first time he faces off against his old side. The Bucks starting centre is out, meaning that Thon Maker will play for the Bucks, making this a good matchup for Monroe. Monroe should be able to physically dominate the raw Australian and rack up a heap of rebounds and points in the post. Look for a huge score from Monroe at a cheap salary.

Centre

Brook Lopez ($11,700)

It appears as though Lopez has turned the corner for the Lakers and is now in a rhythm. Lopez struggled to find his feet, but his last two matches have been really promising, averaging 41 DS points. Lopez is a great outside shooter as well as sporadic rebounding threat. He is up against a depleted Kings lineup who have got backups in both the Power Forward and Centre position. It looks a good spot for Lopez to dominate.
