MITCHELL MOSES

Club: West Tigers   Position: Five-Eighth   Age: 22

Mitchell Moses finished the 2016 season as one of the most in form #6’s in the competition. He’s loaded with great pace, ball reading and ball playing ability. Moses has the potential to carry that form into 2017 and with a fully fit set of outside backs around him (Tedesco etc) he could do anything next season.

KERROD HOLLAND

Club: Bulldogs   Position: Centre  Age: 24

With plenty of movement in the Bulldogs camp, particularly in the centres with Sam Perrett retiring and Curtis Rona switching codes, Holland will have plenty of time in the starting side. Holland’s a young strong runner with great tackling ability and will also add to the Bulldogs side with his accurate goal kicking.

KALYN PONGA

Club: Cowboys (Knights in 2018)   Position: Fullback/Half-Back   Age: 18

Whether Kalyn Ponga plays out the remainder of his cowboys contract or goes to the Knights early in 2017 the one thing that is for certain is that everyone is looking forward to seeing what more the young 18 year-old has to offer. With a remarkable debut against the Broncos, Ponga was able to fulfil the expectation and excite the whole of the NRL community. What can Ponga bring next year? The sky’s the limit.

JAMES FISHER-HARRIS

Club: Penrith    Position: Second Row/Lock/Prop   Age: 20

Fisher-Harris was amongst a handful of player to burst onto the scene in 2016 straight from being a rookie. He ended the season as one of the most in form players at the Penrith Panthers and will most certainly be one to watch in the upcoming season.

LATRELL MITCHELL

Club: Roosters   Position: Full-Back/Wing-Eighth   Age: 19

The 193cm and 104kg 19 year old has been described as ‘Greg Inglis like’ and since debut has wowed many people. Anthony Minichiello has backed the clubs young gun to become the next long term star for the Roosters and believes he has even more to show.

JAMES TEDESCO

Club: West Tigers   Position: Full-Back/Centre/Wing   Age: 23

There is still growing speculation on the possible move of Tigers gun Tedesco to the Sydney Roosters. Of course the Tigers are keen to keep him as they are aiming to build the ‘big 4’ along side Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Aaron Woods. With this four playing the Tigers will be very interesting to watch and with the ball using abilities of players like Moses and Tedesco the Tigers could be thrilling to watch.

ASHLEY TAYLOR

Club: Titans   Position: Half-Back Age: 21

The 2016 Dally M Rookie of the Year was very impressive in his first year at the Titans after moving from the Broncos for more first grade game time. Taylor was able to show a level and mature head. having been given such big responsibilities at a young age many are looking forward to seeing what he can produce in 2017.

TOM TRBOJEVIC

Club: Sea Eagles   Position: Full-Back/Wing   Age: 20

The Manly utility back was a must sign for the club at the end of the 2016 season along with his brother. He was one of the most excited fast paced players that we saw this season and at such a young age you can look forward to him bettering his game and impacting positively on Manly’s game.
