Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $10k+ Saturday competition

Point Guard

George Hill ($12,350)

Since his move to Utah, George Hill has been nothing but phenomenal in a Jazz uniform. Averaging just over 18 points per game to go along with 3.8 boards and 4.4 assists it’s clear it hasn’t taken Hill long to get used to his new surroundings. Coming up against Reggie Jackson on Saturday, Hill will undoubtedly need to be at his best with Jackson beginning to find his feet. With the Jazz in superb form as of late, currently sitting fifth in the Western Conference, expect them to continue their run of form and for Hill to play a big part.

Reggie Jackson ($11,250)

After an interrupted beginning to the season Reggie Jackson is finally starting to find his feet and play the brand of basketball we all know he is capable of. An average of 24 points, 1.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists across the last seven days has seen Jackson’s price rise as a result of some solid fantasy scores – one of which was a 40-point fantasy performance against Charlotte just over a week ago. With the Pistons slacking to just four wins in their last 10, Jackson will be looked upon to play a dominant game. Lock him in with confidence, and don’t forget he put up 29 points in his last outing with the Jazz in which he shot 63% from the field that day.

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum ($13,550)

There’s not much to say about C.J. McCollum apart from the fact that his numbers of late have been incredible. Averaging 23.7 points for the season, McCollum has increased his average to 30.1 points per game over the last 15 days to go along with 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 dimes, 1.3 steals and even a block per game. With Damian Lillard struggling a little bit offensively, McCollum has clearly stepped up another notch, playing a big part in Portland’s win over the Cavaliers just a couple days ago. Coming off a 27-point performance against the reigning champions should spark a huge amount of confidence for McCollum heading into a matchup with Orlando on Saturday. Lock and load.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($9,450)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is always a hard player to predict however coming off a 43-point and 35.75-point fantasy performance gives us some confidence that he may be set for another big game on Saturday. Averaging 18 points and 3.7 threes over the past seven days, Caldwell-Pope has been showing us his offensive capabilities. While he’s a player that can sometimes go missing, he’s also a player that takes a lot of confidence from quality recent performances to spark a purple patch in form. Back Caldwell-Pope in against the Jazz to hopefully continue playing the way he has the last couple games.
jabari-parker

Small Forward

Jabari Parker ($12,450)

A breakout season for Bucks youngster Jabari Parker has people raving about the future for Milwaukee alongside fellow superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Very good numbers over the past seven days have pushed us to select Parker at our first forward spot – a 25-point, 6.3 rebound and five assist average if you don’t mind! Facing a very up and down Miami Heat, you should be positive that Parker can continue his form across the past week into the matchup on Saturday. Parker looks likely to face Luke Babbitt who is renowned for people a poor defender, and there’s no doubt Babbitt will struggle against a more athletic Parker as well.

Al-Farouq Aminu ($7,150)

Portland forward Al-Farouq Aminu isn’t some renowned for being a popular fantasy selection given the huge amount of scoring talent in Portland.
However, averaging a double-double in the past week should change that view. Up against the likes of Serge Ibaka, Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic and Bismack Biyombo, the Trail Blazers will need players such as Aminu to step up their rebounding at both ends of the floor. Averaging 32.6 fantasy points over his last three games is very good for someone priced just above $7k, therefore don’t miss the opportunity to get him cheap before his price starts to rise a little bit.

Power Forward

Tobias Harris ($9,750)

A very up-and-down season for Tobias Harris had people questioning whether he is the right fit for Detroit, however his last few performances should definitely bring him into fantasy calculations. At just a touch under $10k, Harris is a bargain given his 19-point, 6.1-rebound average across the last 15 days. More importantly, Harris’ fantasy scores have been the beneficiary with three 30+ point fantasy scores in his last three outings. Keen to win back and properly cement his spot in the starting lineup expect Harris to keep impressing Stan van Gundy.

Zach Randolph ($9,200)

No matter what team you support everyone loves a bit of Z-Bo, and it shouldn’t be any different when looking at him for your team this Saturday. Randolph may have been demoted to the bench at the expense of Jamychal Green, however his box score has still been just as good. Averaging a double-double – 18 points and 10.3 rebounds over the past week, Randolph is a cheap buy at just under $10k. Up against the Houston Rockets, the absence of Clint Capela means the Rockets are still weakened in the rebound department. Expect Randolph to feast on the opportunity and produce another big man.

Centre

Joel Embiid ($14,850)

‘The Process’ is already a fan favourite in the NBA not only for his energetic and humours personality but also as a result of the way he plays basketball. Averaging 19.4 points, 7.5 boards and 2.3 blocks already this season, Embiid has been incredibly consistent in his first season, particularly as a result of him being Philly’s main go-to man. The already two-time Rookie of the Month will look to continue his outstanding form in the past 15 days (22.4 points and eight rebounds per game), which has more importantly seen the 76ers put some W’s on the board. Embiid will not let you down.
