Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $14k+ Saturday competition

Point Guard

Lou Williams ($12,150)

The veteran point guard continues to shine, despite the Lakers’ struggling over the last 10 games. The veteran has played starter-level minutes off the bench due to injuries to other backcourt players D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young. Even as these two return, Williams should still see considerable court time and if he continues his recent form (29 points and 3.5 assists over the last 6 games) you can lock him in for another big night.

Darren Collison ($10,000)

Collison has been great over the last few games and looks to be locked in as the Kings’ second offensive threat behind DeMarcus Cousins. An injury to Rudy Gay will only be positive news for Collison. He should see his usage rate go up and as a result could continue on his previous form as he has put up over 10 points in his last six games to go with his strong assist and rebound numbers.

Shooting Guard

Goran Dragic ($13,300)

Dragic’s recent form has been spectacular as he has assumed a much more offensive-orientated role for his Miami team. The second option behind Hassan Whiteside, Dragic has been great since he returned from injury. Over his last six games he has put up big numbers averaging 23 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds per game. Against a fast-paced Clippers team Dragic will push the ball on the break trying to get either himself or his teammates quick points.

Langston Galloway ($6,450)

The Pelicans guard has assumed a bigger role over the past few games as his team looks for any offensive threat to couple with franchise star Anthony Davis. Over his last 6 games Galloway has seen a spike in minutes and as a result has erupted, putting up 15 points and a couple of assists and rebounds per game. Over these games he has averaged an impressive 3.8 made 3-pointers and if he can keep hitting these shots he will keep the score ticking over as teams collapse to the inside on Davis.

Small Forward

Gordon Hayward ($14,050)

The Jazz star has been on a tear since he returned, showing just how important he is to the Jazz and their playoff hopes. He seems to relish being the go-to guy on the team and as the Jazz have a few injury concerns you can expect Hayward to see a huge amount of opportunities. Putting up impressive numbers of 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game this season Hayward is a safe bet to put up big fantasy points especially against a struggling Dallas team.

Wesley Matthews ($9,300

The veteran player has been important for a struggling Dallas team over the past few games and his leadership on the court has been vital. Matthews had put up over 25 points over his three previous games before struggling against Detroit in his previous game. Even as he struggled on the offensive end he still contributed in other ways tallying a season high 4 steals in the game as well as rebounding well. As Dallas continue to struggle with Dirk Nowitzki and JJ Barea out, expect Matthews to see a lot of the ball and hopefully he can get his shooting touch back and put up big numbers in all areas.

Power Forward

Serge Ibaka ($11,650)

The big man has found his shooting touch and has put up some big point totals over his last few games. His 29 points against Atlanta came off the back of a season high four 3-pointers and this sort of range could spell trouble for a struggling Brooklyn team. While Ibaka hasn’t been as impressive this season on the boards he won’t have much of a better opportunity than this game as he faces a Brooklyn team who lacks a lot in big men behind Brook Lopez. Expect a big showing from Serge on both ends of the court.

Ersan Ilyasova ($8,300)

The 76’ers big man has seen increased court time over the past few games as Philadelphia has had a few big men either hurt or rested over the past few contests. As a result, Ilyasova has been able to become a much bigger part of the offence and contribute more than just his normal 3 point shooting. Ilyasova has averaged an impressive 17 points and 8 rebounds over his past six contests and if he gets a good amount of minutes he is a huge chance of bettering these numbers. If he has a shooting touch against a young Lakers team he could be a steal at this price.

Centre

Andre Drummond ($14,450)

The big man from the Pistons has been on a tear over his past few games and seems to be dialled in and focused. Drummond has seven straight double-doubles and seems intent on leading the Pistons at both ends of the court – averaging 17 points and an incredible 15 rebounds per contest. In his last game he failed to block a single shot for the first time in the past seven games, but he was still able to contribute as he had a career-high six steals. Drummond seems to finally be locked in and against a struggling Washington team you can expect another massive game from the big man.
