Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $15k+ Thursday competition

Point Guard

Victor Oladipo ($18,050)

Oladipo has been flying recently as his usual starting backcourt partner, Darren Collinson has been out with an injury. Oladipo’s usage has spiked, topping 50 DS points in three of his last four matches. Oladipo gets a great matchup against the Nets who are allergic to defense and has a good opportunity to continue his good form before he plays in his first ever All Star game.

Jameer Nelson ($5,300)

Nelson has stated his tenure with the Pistons in fine fashion, averaging 18.5 DS points in his two games. Nelson is getting a lot more minutes on court with the Pistons than he was at the Bulls and if this continues, you can expect his salary to increase over the coming weeks. The Pistons are taking on the bottom placed Hawks in what should be a easy win for them. Expect Nelson to get plenty of time in what could be a blowout win. He looks like excellent value.

Shooting Guard

Bradley Beal ($14,950)

With John Wall out for an extended period of time, Beal has become the leader of this team and the primary scorer. The Wizards are rolling along in fourth place in the East and Beal is going alright himself, scoring over 39 DS points in six of his last nine matches. The Wizards take on the Knicks in what should be an easy win. Expect Beal to rack up the stats are he looks to go into the All Star game in good form.

Brandon Ingram ($11,900)

Ingram has been in decent form recently, averaging 36 DS points over his last three matches. Ingram has really grown into his role this year with the Lakers and is one of the brightest young talents in the league. Ingram gets a good matchup against the Pelicans, who are not a good team defensively. Ingram looks well positioned to have a big day.

Small Forward

Bojan Bogdanovic ($8,950)

Bogdanovic is another Pacer who has seen his usage spike with the injury to Collinson. Bogdanovic is not the second scoring option on the Pacers, behind Oladipo and should have another prosperous night against the Nets. Bogdanovic has averaged 31 DS points over his past three matches and another outing like that will be a good return for his cheap salary.

Omri Casspi ($6,600)

With Draymond green still under his injury cloud, Casspi looks as though he will get more minutes. The Warriors take on the Trail Blazers in what should be a good game. Casspi is a good scorer and rebounder, who is often left wide open as the other team focuses on the Warriors stars. If Green is confirmed as a starter, you may want to rethink selecting however, as his court time will most likely suffer.

Power Forward

Thaddeus Young ($10,450)

We have gone very Pacers heavy with our team today as Young is the third Pacer in our lineup. The Nets are the worst in the league at defending big men and Young is more of a consistent threat then the other Pacers big man, Myles Turner. Young is a good rebounder and scorer and is in good form, averaging 38.5 DS points over his past two matches. He looks like a great selection for today’s matches.

Derrick Favors ($10,200)

Favors and his Jazz are absolutely flying, winning their past ten matches. Favors has been contributing solidly in that time scoring over 30 DS points four times and over 20 in eight of his past ten matches. Favors and the Jazz get a soft matchup against the Suns who are bad a defending big men. Expect Favors to continue his good form and score well.

Centre

Enes Kanter ($12,800)

Kanter has exploded since the injury to Kristaps Porzingis, taking his game to another level. Kanter has scored under 29 DS points only once in the last month (15 games) and has scored over 40 DS points on three occasions. Kanter is a rebounding machine and has recorded double doubles in his last eight matches. Expect the streak to continue and Kanter to continue to rack up the points.
