Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $15k+ Thursday competition

Point Guard

Dejounte Murray ($9,800)

The young Spurs guard has been showing glimpses of his promise lately, but still needs to become more consistent. Over his past seven matches, Murray has four scores over 29 DS points, including 48 DS points against the Cavaliers, but has also returned two sores under 21 DS points. Murray is an excellent rebounder, but needs to lift with his scoring and assisting to become a fantasy star, he gets a great matchup here against the Suns who struggle to defend guards.

Cory Joseph ($7,750)

With Darren Collinson and Victor Oladipo both missing for the Pacers, Cory Joseph gets his chance to run the Pacer offense, in what should be a high scoring match against the Pelicans. Joseph is a reasonable player when gets minutes on the court and he will have a full game to work with. Hopefully he can make the most of his chance this match and score well.

Shooting Guard

Jimmy Butler ($17,550)

Jimmy buckets has been in brilliant form for the high flying Timberwolves, who already have more win this year then they recoded over the whole of the last season. Butler has been consistently strong this year, only dropping below 30 DS points twice in 2018. He gets an easy matchup against the Cavaliers who are coming off a back to back and who are defending horribly. The only risk is Butler sitting out some of the match if the Wolves are winning in a blowout.

E’Twaun Moore ($8,400)

Moore is a hit and miss player who often has quiet games, but when he gets on a roll, he is a damaging outside shooter capable of dropping a lot of points. Moore gets a great matchup against the Pacers who are missing their two best players and this game is between two fast paced high scoring teams. T is set up perfectly for someone like Moore to have a big game.

Small Forward

Lance Stephenson ($9,950)

Stephenson has hit a little run of good form recently as he benefits from greater usage. Stephenson’s usage lifted due to the absence of Darren Collinson and is set to rise again due to the absence of Oladipo. Stephenson is a good scorer and rebounder and at his salary, seems like a good choice.

Joe Ingles ($9,450)

The Jazz are absolutely flying at the moment and Joe Ingles is playing a big role in their streak. The jazz have won six in a row including blowout wins against the Warriors, Spurs and the Pelicans. Ingles has topped 30 DS points on three occasions in that time and looks like he can do it again against the Grizzlies, who are bottoming out.

Power Forward

Nikola Mirotic ($11,600)

Mirotic has made the move from the Bulls to the Pelicans and has hit the ground running. Mirotic recorded a big double-double against the Wolves, finishing with 48 DS points before having a quiet game against the high flying heat. Mirotic will have an easy task against the Pacers, who will have to pay extra attention to Mirotic’s front court partner, Anthony Davis. Mirotic should be able to score fairly easily in this high scoring match and return a good score.

Luc Mbah a Moute ($6,250)

Mbah a Moute has been promoted to the Rockets starting five recently due to the injury to Trevor ariza. Mbah a Moute is not a massive scorer, but he contributes with rebounds and assists and is very consistent for a player who is so cheap. Mbah a Moute should get good minutes against the Heat and represents good value for today’s matches.

Centre

Andre Drummond ($18,800)

The Pistons are undefeated in four games since Blake Griffin has joined the team and Andre Drummond has lifted his game to another level. The Pistons boast the best front court duo in the league and are proving unstoppable at the moment. Drummond has scored over 50 DS in three out of his last four matches and gets a matchup against the Nets, who are the worst team in the league when it comes to defending big men. Drummond is a clear pick for today’s matches.
