Here is a team you may consider for the NFL $25,000+ Monday competition

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford ($13,100)

The highest paid QB in league history takes on the Panthers at home in what looks like a potential shootout. The Lions are low flying, winning all their games bar one, where the loss continued the Lions tradition of losing in comical circumstances. Stafford has not been putting up the stats that he is known for so far this year, but today looks to be a day where he needs to score a lot of points to win the game.

Running Back

Todd Gurley ($18,800)

The Rams are one of the big surprise packets this season and it is largely thanks to the elite play of their stud RB, Todd Gurley. Gurley has been a dominant force so far this season and can continue his form in this game. The Seahawks are known for their pass defense, so if the Rams are to win this match, they will have to lean on Gurley.

Running Back

LeGarrette Blount ($10,700)

Blount force trauma has landed in Philly. The former Patriot running back has finally found his place on his new team and rewarded the faith by running for 136 yards against the Chargers. Blount is a short yardage and red zone specialist, so expect him to run for a touchdown or two this week. Blount is now the number one RB in Philly after the injury to Darren Sproles, so you can expect his workload to continue.

Wide Receiver

T.Y. Hilton ($13,950)

Perhaps the most underrated receiver the league, Hilton has had a quieter than usual start the season, but it has not been his fault. Hilton has had a raw but promising QB, Jacoby Brissett, throwing to him and has faced some of the best passing defenses in the league. He gets a really good matchup against the 49ers and should be set to explode. The Colts should be able to pass the ball with ease in this match up and that bodes well for their star receiver.

Wide Receiver

Jaron Brown ($10,950)

With all the attention on his star teammate Larry Fitzgerald, Jaron Brown has been sneaking under the radar. The cardinal offense has been a lot more reliant of passing this season after the injury to star RB David Johnson and Brown has been the main beneficiary. Look for him to continue his hot form against the Eagles who do not have a strong pass defense.

Tight End

Hunter Henry ($8,350)

The changing of the guard is official at the Chargers with Hunter Henry now the number one Tight End. Henry is a young, super athletic target for the struggling Chargers who take on another battling team, the Giants. Henry gets a great match up as the Giant’s linebackers are either injured or woefully out of form. Henry is a great value play at the tight end position.

Flex

Cole Beasley ($9,150)

It is fair to say that Beasley has been quite disappointing so far this season, only catching a total of 11 balls. Last year he was so reliable for his QB Dak Prescott who loved throwing the ball over the middle of the field to Beasley, who thrives as a slot receiver. The Packers struggle to defend the pass, and the Cowboys will most likely have to pass it a lot to keep up with the Packers high powered offense. Beasley looks like a good, cheap option for your lineup.

Flex

Duke Johnson ($8,950)

Whilst he is listed as a Running Back, Duke Johnson has mainly been utilised as a wide receiver by the Browns this season. Johnson is one of the many Browns who can be put in the category of young and promising, but still quite raw. Johnson will hopefully be targeted by rookie QB Deshone Kizer frequently as the Browns look to win their first game of the season.

Defense

Kansas City Chiefs ($5,800)

The undefeated Chiefs match up against the Houston Texans in a primetime matchup. Houston has been playing well recently, thanks to the outstanding play from rookie QB Deshaun Watson. Watson threw for 4 TDs last week and ran for another, but it is extremely difficult to maintain consistent play like that, especially as a rookie. The Chiefs defense has been dominant, especially against the pass, so look for a couple of interceptions and a few sacks.
