Spencer Ware – RB – 5,000

The Chiefs immediate release of last year’s rushing champion Kareem Hunt following the release of a video showing Hunt kicking and shoving a woman has created a glaring hole in one of the NFL’s most prolific offenses. Enter Spencer Ware, who will ascend to the feature back role and on offer at entry level price. With their electric passing game, the Chiefs may opt to go through the air more with Hunt out of the picture, but they’re still going to need to work the ground and that passing game is going to create space for their running game. Ware had been penciled in to start for the Chiefs last year before a devastating injury robbed him of his season, so he isn’t without pedigree.

Russell Wilson – QB – $15.890

Wilson has really been rediscovering his game of late, but comes into this week with 11 quarterbacks priced above him. He’s put up over 20 Draftstars points in five of his last six outings, throwing multiple TD’s each week while very rarely turning the ball over, and remains a threat on the ground as well. His turn in form now fortunately coincides with a home game up against a visiting San Francisco team who are allowing an average QB rating of 101.2 on the year.

David Nkoju – TE – $7,750

The TE spot has been tough all year across fantasy formats, and Nkoju has been a cheap option that people have turned to but been burned multiple times in what has been an inconsistent and at times disappointing season. However, he turned it on last week, pulling in a touchdown and 63 yards. The Texans have surrendered six touchdowns to opposing tight ends this and conceded plenty of yards too. With the TE spot being something of a gamble, and Nkoju sitting at a cheap price, he’s worth a dice roll to back up from last week with a similar outing.

Kenny Golladay – WR – $11,940

Golladay has been a target magnet for the Lions with the departure of Golden Tate and injury to Marvin Jones. In the last three weeks Golladay as seen an average of slightly over 10 targets per game and he’s hauled in many of them along with managing to find the end zone on multiple occasions. With the Greatest Show on Turf 2.0 visiting, this game should be an high flying shootout, resulting in plenty of possessions for a Lions offense that at this point has few places to turn but to toss the ball Golladay’s way.
