NBA Superstar Showdown – LeBron v Giannis
We are back with another Superstar Showdown and after a couple of one sided contests, this one is a showstopper. It is LeBron James vs Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis is the overwhelming favourite for this season’s MVP award who is having a career best year, and LeBron is doing LeBron things, night after night. It’s Draftstars Superstar Showdown, who you got?

LeBron
What more can be said about this man? The best player since Jordan has consistently performed night after night for the last ten years. He’s the only shining light so far for Cleveland this year, who have been surprisingly poor to start the season. LeBron has been running the offense, which is great for his Draftstars production, averaging over 50 DS points per game. He always lifts for big games and he will be keen to show Giannis that he is still the top dog.
Giannis
The Greek Freak has taken his game to another level so far this season, launching himself to be the early favourite for the MVP. Giannis is leading the league in scoring, averaging over 31 points per game. What’s truly remarkable is that he is barely shooting from the three point line, most of the damage he inflicts is close to the hoop. He is also a beast gathering rebounds and bringing his teammates into the game with assists. Whilst Giannis has not recorded a triple double so far this season, you feel as though it is only a matter of time, and what better opportunity to do it than against the league’s worst defense.
The Verdict
LeBron James is the best player the NBA. He has performed at a high level for a long time, but the Greek Freak’s time is now. Giannis is playing at an MVP level and carrying his team to wins. The Cavaliers are horrible defensively, which should allow Giannis to do as he pleases. Giannis is our selection for the Draftstars Superstar Showdown.
