Drew Brees – QB – $18,890

Even Cowboys fans would have been surprised last week at how well they shutdown Brees last week given his MVP level form throughout the year. Limited to just 127 yards in the air, despite averaging 271 throughout the season, this was a real aberration for Brees and the Saints and we can expect an immediate bounce back here facing a Buccaneers defense that is ranked 28th in the NFL in pass defense. Tampa Bay concedes on average 278 passing yards per game. Despite last week, Brees maintains an incredible 76% completion rate, with 30 TDs and just three picks on the year.

Ezekiel Elliott – RB – $17,790

Zeke has been on fire in the last month and now gets a home match up against a broken down Philadelphia team with one of the weaker defenses in the league. The Eagles have allowed an opposing back to eclipse 100 yards on the ground in three of their past four games, with the fourth being a 98 yard outing. Elliott has been fantastic not only on the ground, but in the air with at least five catches in each of his last four games, including his last game against the Eagles where he had 151 rushing yards with a TD, along with 36 receiving yards and a TD. Elliott has also scored touchdowns in each of his last four games.

Philip Lindsay – RB – $13,460

Lindsay has been ferocious in recent weeks, reeling off back to back 100+ yard games including a huge 157 yard two touchdown game last week, he has gone off for five touchdowns in just the last three weeks. He now gets to stretch his legs against a 49ers defense that is conceding 108 yards on the ground per game, and nine touchdowns on the year. San Francisco are allowing 28 points a game in total which is the fourth most in the NFL.

Keenan Allen – WR – $15,890

The Chargers wideout is coming off a big 14 catch, 148 yards with a score game and now encounters a Bengals defense giving up the fifth most receiving yards in the league, and the fifth most receiving touchdowns. With star running back Melvin Gordon set to be out of action this week also, the Chargers will be further dependent on their passing game, resulting in more targets for Allen. He’s the second most expensive WR on the slate, but he’s got touchdown grabs in four straight weeks, is up against a horrible secondary, and is the clear focal point with Gordon out of the picture.

New York Giants – DST – $6,080

They’re playing against Mark Sanchez, which is about all the convincing that should be required. Sanchez will serve as their third QB this year, playing behind a banged up and broken offensive line. With Sanchez at the helm, and coming under immense pressure, it’s going to be a very difficult night in the passing game which will turn the attention to Adrian Peterson. He may have put up 98 yards last week, but 90 of those came on one play. That one huge run aside, Peterson went for just eight yards on eight carries.
