INDIA v AUSTRALIA 1ST ODI: TIPS & SELECTIONS
Australia take on India in the first of five ODIs when the tour switches to the 50-over format in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Australia won the two-game T20 series with a 2-0 clean sweep and will now look to transfer that form into the ODIs.
There is $2,000 in the jackpot tournament for the 1st ODI as well as Free to Play and fun tournaments.
We pick out some of the players you should have in your selections for the 1st ODI.
Mohammed Shami ($13,000)
Mohammed Shami has more or less cemented his spot after the New Zealand series (nine wickets). Shami was impressive in New Zealand for the way he used pace and bounce to be aggressive in the middle overs. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar set to come back from the third ODI, Shami could do with a good outing.
Nathan Coulter-Nile ($11,900)
Nathan Coulter-Nile has experience of these conditions having toured before. With his pace and bounce – to go with his hard-hitting batting down the order – Coulter-Nile will be the one to watch.
Glenn Maxwell ($16,600)
Glenn Maxwell was brilliant in the T20Is (169 runs) showing a new-found composure and control. He might get an extended run in the ODIs as well, as the tourists look to get their composition right.
Kuldeep Yadav ($12,500)
India have the best combination of wrist spinners who give them an edge in the middle overs. One of them is the returning Kuldeep Yadav who gives the attack an aggressive outlook.
