AFL SATURDAY $40,000+ CONTEST
This four-game slate could be one of the highest cash lines of the season so pick for glory not safety today especially your premium plays.
We’ve gone for a pretty balanced side here today, going back to two rookie mids who helped us last week so be able to afford all the guns we want.
That is a build a lot of coaches will be faced with because there is a plethora of premium talent here – and WHERE you take your cheapy plays will also matter.
Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for the $40,000+ Saturday Contest
FORWARD
Peter Wright ($9,430):Kicked 3.3 last week against the Crows and there is no reason why he won’t have those shots on goal again especially without Harris Andrews for the Lions. Huge work rate and really safe floor/role and if he kicks straight he will clear the ton.
Lewis Taylor ($10,240):This is our POD play in the fwd line today, expect he will be vastly under-owned and overlooked. Has been finding plenty of the footy in the NEAFL and those forward flankers can hurt the Suns especially ones who are playing for their career as Taylor is. Think he can produce a nice safe 80+ game here with potential for more.
MIDFIELD
Nat Fyfe ($13,810):Love Fyfe every week and going back to him in a game where his mate plays game 300 and where Freo should put on a real show against the Dogs. Anyone picking on recent history won’t touch him but I actually think a 140+ is very in play here.
Jack Macrae ($16,880):Ditto MaCrae in terms of going underowned. The Bont and Libba have taken away Macrae’s big ceiling games thus far in 2019 so we’re riding for luck hoping he can produce his first 130+ of the season at great ownership.
James Rowbottom ($5,850): I could have gone balanced in the mid but I think that will be a popular play so if our two guns go big and Rowbottom and Hayes can return us 75+ games we on track. Great debut last week and more to give on his 60pts. Much more.
Will Hayes ($7,920): Cheapy mid play of the slate for mine. Just looked comfortable at the level and actually got better as the game wore on. Can hit 10x value here.
DEFENDERS
Daniel Rich ($12,310): Loves playing the Suns and could play that Vlastuin type role intercepting the Suns horrible forward entries. Gets his 5-10 kick-in kicks as well. Pretty safe with a great upside.
Jack Newnes ($11,790):Last start 73pter will have many jumping off but thats the reason i’m staying on. He can get straight back to three figures here at hopefully great ownership. Had a down game but the role and matchup is great.
RUCK
Reilly O’Brien ($11,110):Bit of a POD play in the ruck, O’Brien has displayed in different games he can tackle, find the footy and win the ruck – if he can put them together in one game he will clear 120 and he gets his best chance so far in 2019 against Rowan Marshall.
