NFL $6,000+ MONDAY Line-Up Suggestions
Once again, NFL’s premier day of football provides astute Draftstars coaches with plenty of talent to select for the Draftstars NFL $6k Monday competition.
Quarterback
Marcus Mariota ($12,700)
After producing his worst game of the year against Denver last week, Mariota will be looking to rebound against a less hardened defence in Kansas City, who rank 18th in pass defence. With the Chiefs allowing the 11th most points to opposing quarterbacks, Mariota should respond after eclipsing 20 points in his last four games prior to Week 14.
Running Back
LeSean McCoy ($16,400)
McCoy has recorded over 100 scrimmage yards in his last three games whilst averaging 26.1 points. He’ll spend plenty of time on the field against the Browns who struggle in all facets of the game. Cleveland rank 31st in the league for offensive yards allowed, and Buffalo’s top running offense will enjoy a large portion of that.
Lamar Miller ($12,850)
Nagging injuries haven’t held Miller back from steadily producing across the past few weeks where the offense has relied on him. While he is listed as questionable to play, he is likely to dress up and impress against Jacksonville’s 23rd-ranked run defence. Having produced a touch shy of 20 points last week, Miller is a safe bet in Week 15.
Wide Receiver
T.Y. Hilton ($12,000)
Donte Moncrief is in doubt to suit up for the Colts’ matchup with the Vikings this week, and if he doesn’t play, Hilton will become Andrew Luck’s best and most productive target in the game. Minnesota have given up the second-most points to wide receivers this year, and after contributing consecutive 100 yard weeks, Hilton is in good stead to repeat those figures once again.
DaVante Adams ($9,150)
Adams has had a breakout season this year, developing into one of Aaron Rodgers’ most trusted red zone receivers. After another 100+ yard, touchdown game last week against a tough defence in Seattle, back Adams in against Chicago’s defence, which he had 132 yards and two touchdowns on earlier in the season.
Tight End
Travis Kelce ($10,550)
Kelce has been one of the more productive tight ends over the past month, compiling four straight games of 100 receiving yards. While he hasn’t caught a touchdown in that span, he’s proven himself to be Alex Smith’s most favoured receiver, and should produce again against Tennessee.
Flex
Tevin Coleman ($11,350)
While he operates in a running back committee with Devonta Freeman, Coleman has seen more action in the red zone than his teammate. He had two touchdowns last week against the Rams, and will likely have a prime opportunity again this week, as he and the Falcons face a 49ers’ side who are the worst ranked team for fantasy points in the running back position.
Ladarius Green ($8,300)
With Pittsburgh’s spot in the playoffs not yet solidified, Ben Roethlisberger will need to use all of his tricks to do away with the Bengals, with Green becoming a more prominent figure in the short passing game as the season has progressed. Cincinnati have allowed opposing tight ends to have a minimum of 79 receiving yards across the past six games ,suggesting Green is likely to bounce back after only 4.50 points last week.
Defense
Atlanta Falcons ($6,650)
After demolishing the Rams last week, the improved Falcons defence have an equally enticing matchup against the 49ers this week, whose offense struggled after the first quarter in Week 14. At their price, the Falcons present the best value given their favourable matchup this week.
