AFL $50,000+ SATURDAY
A great five-gamer for coaches with plenty of risk v reward selection options right throughout the afternoon.
There is some rain forecast in Perth which could make that game a little tricky to stack which is a shame because there was a lot of value jumping out from that Dockers v Cats game.
Not being able to trust Optus scoring, our focus turns to the Saints speed men and just Tiger value selections as we build a balanced team that should hopefully get amongst the cash late.
Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for Saturday
FORWARD
Jack Lonie ($10,050): His speed will really trouble the Crows here, hasn’t received the price bump but it’s coming so we’re taking advantage of the spot and the price against a slow Crows side begging to be flogged.
Shai Bolton ($10,000): Bolton is the ultimate risk v reward play today, there is a clear path to him playing solid midfield minutes and if the Tigers get out to a good lead, he could spend majority of the second half onball.
MIDFIELD
Jack Billings ($14,710): Second man in to our mini Saints stack with Billings likely to go very underowned and overlooked today given the options around him and his disappointing return last week. He will run all day so hopefully he starts well and then goes into overdrive late against a tiring Crows side. Can smash value on his best day.
Karl Amon ($12,240): Love Amon, his consistency last few months has been really dependable for dfs. Lock in a hundred here at Marvel and move on.
Hunter Clark ($12,070): Clark had a down game last week but the Saints will be up and about for this game in Adelaide and I expect the youngsters to rack them up across half back early then go on with it for a solid three figure game.
Brandan Ellis ($11,590): Last time they met Ellis peeled off a 111pt game and here I think he will go super low owned in a game he could easily repeat that return.
DEFENDERS
Jayden Short ($9,790): 100+ last week showed that he is getting back to his ball-winning best. Dees will turn it over all night and offer Short the chance to continuously drive the ball forward, possibly even get involved forward of center.
Nick Coffield ($9,140): His speed in the backline could be a real weapon here (think Simpson last week). Cheap enough where if he gets a 70odd that’s fine.
RUCK
Paddy Ryder ($10,400): No Lycett which means Ryder will get the main ruck duties. Baring injury, he will smash value.
