AFL $50,000+ SATURDAY

Nailing your mid-rangers will be key to cashing on what looks a really interesting five-game Saturday slate.

This team is targeting the Blues v Saints game at the MCG as a game that will be hopefully very high-scoring – we should be right up there on the leaderboard early and looking to hod on to some good cash!

Here is my team you can consider using, or building around, for Saturday’s $50k contest.

FORWARD

Quinton Narkle ($7,730): First-up 93pts and filled the stat sheet out nicely. Will be high pressure at the Gabba and Narkle is playing for a spot in the finals this season, expect high involvement at a great price.

Ben Long ($7,740): Loved Long’s game last week, he was unlucky not to ton up but he can hit another value game here against the Blues. Got a look at decent midfield time too towards the back end of the game which i expect to continue.

MIDFIELD

Tim Kelly ($13,790): Should go massively under-owned off the back of a quiet month b his standards. Just the kind of game he can peel off a 130.

Seb Ross ($13,520): New coach has given Ross a new lease on an old life of disposal and tackling beast. I’ll keep picking him until that change but on the wide expanses of the MCG, Ross, Hannebery and Clarke are all going to be good plays today..

Michael Walters ($13,890): Milestone man playing game 150 in Sandi’s sendoff. 5 goals and 20+ just sounds fitting and coming off a 56pter, should be low-owned.

Dan Hannebery ($10,660): Loved his game last week. Two early goals were cream that is unlikely to be repeated but an 80-90pt effort here at the G would be a solid return on price.

DEFENDERS

Kade Simpson ($11,760): The Blues have reverted back to kick-it-to-Kade mode which is lovely given his price tag still hasnt climbed high enough to make me think twice. Tons up at the G.

Hunter Clarke ($11,570): No Coffield means Clarke will play acorss half back and should rack up the disposals. Very good chance he smashes value here.

RUCK

Harry McKay ($9,140): Likely to be too big for Battle and too quick for Brown but it should be a fast game where McKay will get his 4-5 shots on goal. he nails them then he is probably the pick of the rucks today in what is a tricky position.
