Here is a team you may consider for the NBA $7k+ Saturday competition

Point Guard

T.J. McConnell ($10,550)

The plucky young point guard has been a revelation for the resurgent Sixers so far this season. Ever since he took over the starting point guard role in December, the Sixers have looked like a new team. There is a bit of confusion over who will start for the Sixers in their frontcourt after the last minute trade of Nerlens Noel, so it is safer to choose McConnell who we know will start and not really be affected, rather than a member of their turbulent frontcourt.

Yogi Ferrell ($10,100)

Yogi is the man in Dallas. The Mavericks officially waived Deron Williams who was competing with Yogi for the starter’s role. Now that Yogi has full reigns over the offense, expect his production to remain at his consistent high levels.

Shooting Guard

Dion Waiters ($11,250)

Waiters has used the break to refresh and get healthy after his missed a few matches before whilst recovering from injury. Waiters has been in brilliant form for a team that was in full tank mode, before going on an eleven game win streak. Waiters is the focal point of the potent Miami offense, so look for him to get a lot of shots off in this match against the Timberwolves.

Devin Booker ($11,000)

Booker has been super consistent for the inconsistent Suns. He has been in good shooting form, only failing to score 20+ points on three occasions in 2017. The young shooting guard needs to make his game more rounded in order to go to the next level, but he is still a good prospect for today’s match against the inconsistent Bulls.

Small Forward

Andrew Wiggins ($15,050)

Wiggins has stepped up his game after the injury to teammate Zach LaVine. He is scoring over 30 points per game since LaVine’s injury, reveling in the extra usage. With his production still on the rise, it is a good idea to lock him in to your lineups until his salary catches up to his scoring potential.
andrew-wiggins

Gordon Hayward ($13,900)

Hayward will look to brush off a heartbreaking loss to Kristaps Porzingis in the All Star Skills Challenge when he takes to the court against the Bucks. Hayward is having a career best year which resulted in him getting selected in the All Star Game. If Hayward can continue his momentum in the second half of the season, then the Jazz will be a team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

Power Forward

Michael Beasley ($7,350)

Beasley has recently taken over the starter’s role in the Bucks offense, replacing the injured Jabari Parker. Beasley’s extra role in the offense allows him to be more involved, posting double digit points in 3 of his four matches in the starting five. His salary has not yet adjusted fully to his new scoring potential, which makes him an excellent value play.

Marquese Chriss ($5,900)

With confusion about who will actually start in many games due to recent trades, we are opting for a safe, rookie starter in Marquese Chriss. Chriss has been improving steadily throughout the season, to the point now where his bad game return over 3 points per thousand salary. That is a good return for a cheap player.

Centre

Rudy Gobert ($13,800)

The big Frenchman has been playing some quality ball recently, posting a double-double in each of his last six matches. Gobert is quite posasibly the best defensive centre in the league and he should have no problem dominating his matchup against Thon Maker. If Gobert can take enough shots, he should be in for a big day.

The Line Up

PG: T.J. McConnell ($10,550)

PG: Yogi Ferrell ($10,100)

SG: Dion Waiters ($11,250)

SG: Devin Booker ($11,000)
