NBA Superstar Showdown – Curry vs Lowry
It has been a whirlwind first week of the NBA season. There have been dramatic upsets, missed buzzer-beaters and plenty of statements from players around the league. We are back with another Superstar Showdown, it’s a battle of the point guards. Steph Curry, fresh from getting ejected for throwing his mouth guard at the referee faces off against the bulldog, Kyle Lowry.

Curry
WIt has been a strange start to the season for Golden State. Losing two games this early in the season is hardly a disaster, but it is definitely a cause for concern. Curry is really starting to his stride, finishing with over 45 DS points in his last three matches. Curry should play close to the full game today, unlike against the Mavericks where he sat for the last quarter due to the game being a blowout.
Lowry
The Bulldog has not been at his usual tenacious self so far this season, perhaps due to his interrupted preseason. Lowry has been struggling to find the basket, but can bounce back here. Golden State often struggle to defend a good back court combination due to Steph Curry’s ability to get himself in foul trouble early in games. If Lowry can get off the chain with his partner in crime DeMar DeRozan, they could be in for a big day.
The Verdict
How can anyone possible go past Steph Curry? Curry is a damaging player who is lethal from long range. Whilst Curry has the occasional off game, he will be fire dup here after his big week off the court. Lowry has started slowly his season and on current form, it would be a big surprise if he were to beat Steph Curry’s Draftstars score.
